Suriya & Shahrukh Khan to play same role for Maddy

Actor Madhavan is making his directorial debut through the multi-lingual film ‘Rocketry – The Nambi Effect’, which traverses through the life of ISRO Cryogenic Scientist, who was falsely framed as a spy and was jailed only to be proved innocent later. While Madhavan will be appearing in different looks essaying this role, Simran will be essaying the role of his wife. It is said that Suriya will be appearing in a special cameo, where he will interact with the character Nambi as the latter shares the ups and down in his life. The Hindi version will have Shahrukh Khan doing the same role as well.

It is noteworthy that Madhavan and Suriya shared the screen space together in ‘Aayutha Ezhuthu’ directed by Maniratnam. Significantly, Madhavan was supposed to play SRK’s brother in My Name is Khan, which didn’t happen due to some reasons that let the offer move to Jimmy Shergil.
