Superstar Rajinikanth’s next film announcement after Pongal?

Superstar Rajinikanth fans are high on delighted spirits as things involving ‘Petta’ are getting good reception. While the songs by Anirudh have topped the charts and the teaser has become a viral hit, the Petta trailer will be releasing on December 28. Of course, the official announcement has been made that the worldwide theatrical release will be on January 10, 2019. During this juncture, there has been lots of exhilarations prevailing out there involving Rajinikanth’s next film, directed by AR Murugadoss. It seems that the film was supposed to be launched before couple of weeks. However, it was stalled on the spur of moment and will be launched by Pongal. AR Murugadoss has already affirmed that the film will not be a political thriller and will be based on commercial entertainer with a current sensational topic as the backdrops. Lyca Productions is bankrolling this film, which had grubstaked Rajinikanth’s magnum opus 2.0.
