Sundar C who is known for making comedy films is ready for yet another round in acting career. He has already done lead role in twelve films so far, few notable movies are Thalainagaram, Veerapu, Sanda and Guru Shisyan. His next venture Aranmanai 2 is gearing up for Pongal release. Coming back to the update, its a know fact that Sundar C had acquired the remake rights of Malayalam movie Vellimoonga last year. Vellimoonga is a 2014 Malayalam film which had Biju Menon and Nikki Galrani in the lead roles.

Vellimoonga, directed by debutante Jibu Jacob, film was the surprise box office success of 2014. The movie hit the theaters without any much expectations; but managed to grab highly positive reviews from both audience and critics. As per the sources, In the Tamil version, Sundar C himself will be doing the lead role and Priya Anand will enact the character of Nikki Galrani. Sundar C will take care of production and acting while direction by another person.Cast and crew details will be officially announced soon.
