STR-Venkat Prabhu film gets postponed?

Before a month back in time, there was an official announcement claiming that STR and Venkat Prabhu will be collaborating for the film titled ‘Maanadu. The film is produced by Suresh Kamatchi with Yuvan Shankar Raja reportedly joining the team. It was announced that the film will start rolling shortly and would be arriving for the summer 2019.

Nevertheless, there haven’t been any updates about the film. On the other hand, it looks like, STR’s other film with Sundar C will start rolling shortly in time. As known earlier, the film happens to be the remake of super hit Telugu movie Attarintiki Daredi. Megha Akash and Aishwarya Lakshmi from Kerala will be playing the female lead roles in this film. It is officially confirmed that the film will be hitting screens for Pongal 2019.
