STR-GVM-AR Rahman to go on floors by December?

STR is giving no break between his work and it has been incessantly happening over the past few months. Following the grand success of Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, the actor has almost completed wrapping up with the shoot of his next film ‘Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven’, which is scheduled for Pongal release along with Rajinikanth’s Petta and Ajith Kumar’s Viswasam. While there were buzzes that STR will start working on his new film Maanadu with Venkat Prabhu as director by end of this year, it is said to be slightly pushed to summer for stretched Pre-production phase. According to inside reports, STR is likely to start shooting for his next film with Gautham Vasudev Menon from either this December or January 2019. AR Rahman is composing music for this film, which is said to be a romantic drama. It is not yet confirmed whether this film will have the STR’s spin-off role of Karthik from Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya. Nonetheless, there hasn’t been any confirmation involving this from the makers.
