Stark rumours on Rajinikanth-Ranjith film

With the shoot of Rajinikanth’s untitled next, directed by Pa. Ranjith all set to kick-start by middle of this July, there have been inquisitive investigations rounding upon the film’s plot and what characterization Rajinikanth would be. Before couple of days, there was an interesting call on airs that Rajinikanth would be reprising the role of real life don Haji Mastan from Tamil Nadu, who ruled entire Mumbai during 70s and 80s. But then, when approached Ranjith, he has refuted this as a baseless rumour, but assures that Thalaivar would be seen in a much unconventional role than before. The film is produced by Rajinikanth’s son-in-law and actor Dhanush under the banner Wunderbar Films.
