It has become a common ritual these days in Bollywood, where the celebrities are bound to consistently view South Indian movies, especially Tamil flicks. The top league superstars of Hindi cinema, especially Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar have been seen more in such remakes and it was recently reported that Shahrukh Khan would be seen playing the lead role in Vijay’s ‘Theri’ remake, to be directed by Rohit Shetty. But now, it has been denied to be a baseless rumour and Rohit Shetty has confirmed the news that they loved the film, but not remaking it. This has now prompted more to see whether Akshay Kumar, who was on tug of war with SRK-Rohit Shetty to bag the Hindi remake rights of ‘Theri’ would do it apparently now. It is noteworthy that Akshay Kumar had already remade ‘Thupakki’ in Hindi and has fetched the remake rights of ‘Kaththi’ too.
