Bollywood at times has been churning out some remarkable movies that surpass the normal scenarios of grandeur and bonanzas. Special 26 directed by Neeraj Pandey was one such illustration that actually took Bollywood to next level. Featuring Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal in lead roles, the film actually is based on real life incident that shook entire country in 80s, where bunch of conmen dressed up like CBI raided more misappropriate assets from leading politicians and big shots.

With producer-director Thyagarajan clasping the remake rights, the official announcement though informal comes through actor Jai Anand of Kanchana 2 fame as he wrote on his social networking page, “Gotta call from Thiagarajan sir and asked to come his office today. Just coming out after met Thiagarajan sir. Its happy to share you all that am on the board of Thiagarajan sir and Prashanth anna combos untitled next movie along wit Prashanth anna, Sathyaraj sir and Prakash Raj sir !!! Its a Tamil remake of Akshay Kumar’ mega hit Hindi movie Special 26. And it’s my 4th movie after Kanchana 2. Hope 2016 will be better year than the previous years.
