Sivakarthikeyan’s Velaikkaran goes through unexpected change

The makers of Sivakarthikeyan’s Velaikkaran were pretty sure that they would be maintaining the same pattern of planning just like ‘Remo’. They had announced that the movie will be hitting screens for the festive occasion of Vinayaga Chathurthi, which falls on August 25. But all of sudden, there comes a news saying that the movie release has been postponed to September 29 for the festive occasion of Vijayadashami. The first look of Velaikkaran was supposed to be released on May 1 and it has been gradually pushed out to June 5. The film is directed by Mohan Raja and is produced by RD Raja of 24AM Studios with Nayantara, Fahadh Faasil, Prakash Raj and Sneha playing important roles.
