Sivakarthikeyan’s Rajini Murugan is all set to start shooting in Karaikudi from October 30. This movie will be the second outing of the hit combo Siva and Ponram after varuthapadatha vaalibar sangam. Keerthi Suresh plays the heroine role. Keerthi is the daughter of Malayalam actress Menaka, Keerthi has already acted in few Malayalam films as child actress and as lead lady in Mohanlal’s Geethanjali. Other important cast includes Rajkiran, Soori and samuthirakani.

FIlm’s music is by D.Imman and lyrics by Yugabarathi, editing by Vivek harshen and DOP by Balasubramanian. Movie will be produced by N.Lingusamy’s Thirupathi Brothers. Shoot starts from October 30 in karaikudi. The schedule will be for a period of 40 days. The director has plans to shoot the family portions of the script in the traditional house. After this schedule, the team will head to Madurai, for a 25-day schedule and then come back to Karaikudi. Most of the shoot has been scheduled to take place in and around Karaikudi. To be noted, Superstar Rajini has also given ‘Green signal’ to use the title of his movie “Rajini Murugan” upon producer Bose of Thirrupathi Brothers request. All the best to the team.
