Shruthi Haasan teams up with Kajol for a short film

Few years ago, Kajol was supposed to make her comeback in Tamil industry through the movie ‘Marmayogi’ featuring Kamal Haasan in lead role. However, it didn’t happen and later she made her arrival here through the movie ‘VIP 2’ with Dhanush in lead character. Apparently, the actress will now share the screen space with Kamal Haasan’s eldest daughter Shruthi Haasan for a short film titled ‘Devi’.

The film’s first look was released few minutes ago and it has an ensemble star-cast of familiar female artistes like Neha Dhupia, Neena Kulkarni, Mukta Barve, Sandhya Mhatre, Rama Joshi, Shivani Raghuvanshi and Yashaswini Dayama. The film is directed by Priyanka Banerjee and is produced by Electric Apples Entertainment for Large Short Films.
