Vijay Sethupathi has around 5 releases to hit screens in next 5 months and that’s a very rare case, we don’t find out here in Tamil cinema in the recent times. While his much awaited romantic comedy tilled ‘Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum’, directed by Nalan Kumarasamy is scheduled for release in February, his other movie ‘Sethupathi’ has proceeded faster with confirmed plans of release revealed.

The Censor Board Film Committee members happened to watch the film and have passed ‘U’ certificate. The film is directed by Arun Kumar and is based on the emotional episodes of a police officer. The duo had earlier teamed up for a melodrama titled ‘Pannaiyarum Padminiyum’ and this one is completely contrastive in genre. Naturally, following the grand success of ‘Pizza’, Vijay Sethupathi is teaming up with Remya Nambeesan in this film scheduled for release on February 19.
