Sangamithra to release in two parts

Just as Baahubali – The Conclusion as raised the standards of Telugu cinema, our very own Tamil industry is all set to embark on a much prestigious project of ‘Sangamithra’. The film is directed by Sundar C and is produced by Sri Thenandal Films at a whopping budget. The film is about a warrior’s journey of redeeming her dynasty and the hurdling encounter she goes through is the basic premise of the tale.

The film will also throw lights upon different dynasties and indeed will unveil some of the hidden history of our ethnic culture. Although, the film is set against the fictional backdrops, it will be bringing into light, certain esthetical elements of our Indian tradition and culture of the ancient times. The makers have decided to release the film in two different parts. While Shruthi Haasan will be reportedly playing the role of Sangamithra, other lead actors include Jayam Ravi and Arya with AR Rahman composing music.
