For the ones who had enjoyed their moments to core of watching ‘Sandakozhi’, which even after 10 years of release remains to be a favorite one, here is good news. With the same duo of Vishal and Lingusamy teaming up together again for Sandakozhi 2, the news has been confirmed that the shoot will start from May Day (May 1). The script works are already completed and the casting of actors is happening at full swing.

Additional information is that the makers are getting the plans made to release the film as Diwali treat. Vishal always strikes a lucky deal with Diwali day as his films – Pandiya Nadu and Poojai released on this festive occasion have been decorous hits. It looks like Raj Kiran and few others from Sandakozhi might be retained in this flick and the details about technical crew would be announced shortly. Although Lingusamy and Subash Chandra Bose of Thirrupathi Brothers have been producing lots of movies, Vishal has taken up the role of producer and will be funding this project under the banner name of Vishal Film Factory.
