Saamy 2 to bring ‘Tirunelveli Halwa’ backdrop

Chiyaan Vikram fans are high on exhilarations to see their matinee idol strike back with the sequel to his 2003 blockbuster hit movie ‘Saamy’. The film is titled as ‘Saamy Square’, which has Keerthy Suresh in female lead role. Hari who directed the first part is wielding megaphone to this movie, which has musical score by Harris Jayaraj. Shibu Thameems, co-producer of Puli and producer of Irumugan is bankrolling this movie.

According to the latest reports, the chartbuster song ‘Tirunelveli Halwa’ from the first part is getting recreated for a song and fight sequence in the second part. Sources mention that years have passed by and there would few changes to that place. Henceforth, a huge set work involving the same ambience is being created in the outskirts of Tirunelveli. But it will not be an introduction song and by the end of May, the entire shooting is expected to be wrapped up.
