RK Selvamani blames Rajinikanth’s mistake with Darbar

The last movie of superstar Rajini, ‘Darbar’, produced by Lyca Productions, and directed by A R Murugadoss, was released on 9th January.

The distributors who bought this move visited the office of the director Murugadoss, claiming that they had incurred great losses. Subsequently, information was gathered that the director Murugadoss has approached the police seeking protection.

When inquiring about this development with the President of the Directors; Association, R. K. Selvamani, he replied that the distributors buy the movie from the producers only! In case the movie is a huge financial success, do they pay a part of these earnings to the actors and director of the movie? They have the motive that they can somehow recover the money even if the collection has been bad! In this respect, it must be recorded that only actor Rajinikanth created this trend! This was a grave mistake indeed! This kind of approach by distributors should not be tolerated anymore! The Association will definitely stand by director A. R. Murugadoss!
