After bagging three big Telugu films, starring Ram Charan, NTR and Ravi Teja respectively, Rakul Preet next flick in pipeline will be with Mahesh Babu in Brahmotsavam. Rakul Preet Singh was earlier approached for a role in Brahmotsavam opposite Mahesh Babu and she evinced interest to be a part of the film after the first round of discussions. Later Samantha replaced Rakul Singh in mid June 2015 after the latter failed to adjust her call sheets due to scheduling conflicts.

The buzz is that Samantha is replaced by most sought-after Rakul Preet Singh. Although the exact reasons for the replacement are unknown, it’s buzzed that director Srikanth thought of roping in Rakul as she’d be better. The official announcement on the same is awaited. Shooting for this film would start from September 10th. So it will be announced officially before the 10th of September. The film is produced by PVP cinemas and G.Mahesh babu entertainment. The cast also includes Kajal Aggarwal, Pranitha Suresh, Sathyaraj, Jayasudha and Bramanandham.
