Talented pan-Indian actress Radhika Apte has confirmed her part in Rajinikanth’s next gangster drama with director Pa Ranjith. She has revealed that she will not play a typical heroine role but a performance-oriented strong character.

If you have been following India cinema’s parallel wave of film-makers and their alternate cinema, Radhika Apte is a well-established face in the medium. She has been an integral of acclaimed Hindi films like Hunterrr and Badlapur this year.

She was last seen opposite Ajmal in the Tamil film Vetri Selvan which did not do well both commercially and critically.
