Purampokku shooting wrapped up

After long schedules across various parts of the country, the shooting of director SP Jananathan’s Purampokku has been wrapped up recently.The team was shooting in Bangalore using a helicopter during the last schedule. Film stars Vijay Sethupathi, Arya, Shaam and Karthika Nair in the lead roles.Movie is jointly produced by UTV Motion Pictures & S P Jananathan’s Binary pictures. The theme of the film revolves around the relevance of capital punishment in a democratic and free society.

Camera is handled by N.K.Ekambaram and Editing by V.T.Vijayan.Music for the film is composed by Satish Varshan. UTV Dhananjayan states that the audio launch of the film will take place during the first week of January, mostly Jan 8 and the movie will hit the screens after Pongal rush.

Teaser which was released last month was praised for its breath taking visuals.S.P Jananathan is well know for delivering quality product, E and Peranmai had proved his caliber.As the shooting is complete, the post production work has been started and its in full swing.
