Petta Trailer brings back 10 years of lost happiness for Rajinikanth fans
It all started with Shankar’s Sivaji – The Boss followed by Endhiran, where the filmmaker was seen spotlighted for his own works and Rajinikanth’s mass formulae was missing. Yes, these were the biggest hits indeed, but not the regular standard of a Rajinikanth movie. Apparently, what came next were mere disappointments (except Lingaa, which was a decent flick but got hampered due to the business issues) followed by Kabali and Kaala, which showcased Pa. Ranjith’s caste-addicted themes. In fact, to see Rajinikanth’s death in back to back films had earned the filmmaker a wrath from zillion fans. Alas! 2.0 was yet another Shankar’s attempt to prove him on top and reduce Rajinikanth to a ‘Toy’ image.
This isn’t an individual’s perspective, but everyone who was craving for a typical Rajinikanth film. Finally, Karthik Subbaraj becomes the saviour, which has been evidently witnessed from the first look poster to the teaser. Now, Petta Trailer brings back 10 years of lost happiness for Rajinikanth fans.
From the stylish walks, gun swings to the funny gestures and fiery punch dialogues, one thing remains so much for sure – Inimey Thaan Tharamaana Sambhavatha Paakka Pora. We are sure, this is going to be tailor-made for the full length feature as well.
