Paradesi Nominated at London International Film Makers Film Festival

Director Bala recent flick Paradesi makes him go global with Paradesi getting acclaimed international with being nominated under 8 categories.

“Paradesi” (Vagabond) which was based on Dr. P.H Daniel Periodical Novel “RED TEA” won rare reviews & was critically acclaimed in India & as well received all over the world and also has the credentials for releasing in sixty screens in North India for the first time for any Tamil film distributed by Director Anurag kashyap through Phantom Films.

“Paradesi” (Vagabond ) which has been now nominated in eight categories at LONDON INTERNATIONAL FILMMAKERS FILM FESTIVAL is the very first for any Tamil Movie to have been nominated for eight awards in the International competition which has films from America, Russia,Lebanon, South Korea, chili & all over Europe. The Nominations are as follows.

Best Film of the Festival – Bala

Best Director – Bala

Best Director of a Foreign Film – Bala

Best foreign language feature film – Bala

Best Lead Actor – Adharva Murali

Best Cinematography – Chezhian

Best Music – G.V.Prakash

Best costume – National award winner “Poornima Ramaswamy”

The festival starts by 13th of October 2013 with a red carpet in London & there on the competition & final announcement of the winners will be held by the end of the festival by 18th of Oct. *Vagabond is the English title in the competition for “Paradesi”  The International version carries English subtitles & the International Background Score Mix.
