Earlier it was rumored that the drama – thriller ‘Papanasam’ would be released on July 17th, but now since censor process is done, team is working on to release earlier than we expected. Yes, it’s official now Papanasam will be releasing July 3rd. It will also be released by Reliance Entertainment in North India and with this now a wider release is guaranteed.

It is a remake of the Malayalam blockbuster ‘Dhrishyam’. This film has Kamal Hassan and Gautami Tadimalla playing the lead. Yesteryear actress Gautami will be seen on screen after 9 years. The team of Papanasam had been waiting for the director Jeethu Joseph , to return from abroad. He had been shooting for ‘life of Josuutty’ starring Dileep in New Zealand. While this film is produced by wide angle creations and Rajkumar Theaters pvt. LTD., the music is composed by Ghibran. The film’s audio was launched on June 22.

To be noted, two other films ‘Vaalu’ and ‘Palakattu Madhavan’ are releasing on the same day.
