Karthi’s Thambi lands up with an unexpected OTT platform

In the recent years, all the movies of Karthi were mostly streamed on Amazon Prime and it was a surprise to see his last year Diwali blockbuster movie ‘Kaithi’ getting released on Hotstar. Apparently, while everyone expected that his other movie ‘Thambi’ that was released for Christmas would be getting back to the pavilion, there comes another surprise. It is said that the movie will be streamed on Netflix from January 26, 2020.

The film is directed by Jeethu Joseph and produced by Jyotika’s younger brother Siraj. The film also features Jyotika in lead role as Karthi’s elder sister. Sathyaraj, Nikila Vimal and Sowcar Janaki have played important roles in this movie, which has musical score by Govind Vasantha.
