Official – VIP 2 to release on Dhanush birthday

There are whole lots of surprising things happening from the store of Dhanush. He made his debut directorial with Pa Pandi, which has been gaining him good receptions. Meanwhile, the actor is making his debut in Hollywood film too, where the shoot will be beginning by end of this month. Apart from all these fantabulous highlights, the fans of Dhanush have been curiously awaiting the release of his Velai Illa Pattadhaari second installment. It has been officially confirmed by Dhanush that the film will be hitting screens on July 28, 2017. It is noteworthy that Velai Illa Pattadhaari was released in the same month in 2014 (July 18).

VIP 2 is directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth and is produced by Wunderbar Films in association with Kalaipuli S Dhanu with Amala Paul playing the female lead. The same star-cast from first part have been included with Bollywood actress Kajol playing a negative role.
