Official confirmation – Vijay Sethupathi’s next is a biopic

Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi has been intensely involved over lots of projects that are scheduled at different stages of production. Recently, the actor completed shooting for ‘Karuppan’ and is simultaneously working on ‘Oru Nalla Paathu Solren’ and few more that includes ‘96’ and ‘Seethakaathi’. There was a recent announcement that Vijay Sethupathi and Seenu Ramasamy are coming together for a film titled ‘Maamanithan’, which is produced by music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja.

It is now officially confirmed that it would be a biopic based on the life of a famous leader from Southern part of Tamil Nadu. The shooting will commence once Vijay Sethupathi wraps up the current projects. During this interim, Seenu Ramasamy is keenly looking out for an apt heroine to play the female lead role.
