More and more considerations are happening for Mani Ratnam’s untitled next, which will be an out and out action thriller. The filmmaker wanted to kick-start the project soon after the release of O Kadhal Kanmani, but due to some casting issues, the process was shelved. Now it looks like, the auteur has zeroed in the perfect bunch of actors.

Recently, Nivin Pauly had made his way to Mani Ratnam’s office and the discussions happened for hours. Initially, Dulquer Salman for confirmed for this role alongside Karthi, who will be essaying another protagonist characterisation. But in accordance to his date issues, Dulquer couldn’t afford to be a part of this project and for now we have Nithya Menen confirmed on board. The considerations for the other female lead role had lots of prominent names like Keerthi and couple of Bollywood actresses, but now Sai Pallavi has been hitting the radar too
