Nivin Pauly Cleared of Allegations as Evidence Shows He Was in Kochi During Accused Period

In a significant turn of events regarding the sexual harassment allegations against Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly, new evidence has emerged that places him in Kochi, not Dubai, during the time of the alleged incident. Directors Vineeth Sreenivasan and Arun have provided key insights supporting Nivin Pauly’s alibi.

The allegations, which surfaced recently, claimed that Nivin Pauly, along with others, assaulted a woman in Dubai. However, records and testimonies confirm that Pauly was engaged in the shooting of Vineeth Sreenivasan’s film ‘Varshangalkku Shesham’ in Kochi until the early hours of December 15, 2023. Following this, he continued his work on another project, a web series titled ‘Pharma’, also in Kochi, contradicting the timeline of the alleged assault in Dubai.

Vineeth Sreenivasan, who has been vocal in his support for Pauly, confirmed that the actor was on set with him during the critical period. This revelation directly challenges the claims made by the accuser, leading to a reevaluation of the case by the authorities.

Nivin Pauly, addressing the media shortly after the allegations surfaced, vehemently denied the accusations, labeling them as fabricated. He expressed his readiness to face legal scrutiny to clear his name, indicating his intention to pursue legal action against those behind what he describes as a conspiracy aimed at defaming him.

The case, initially registered under serious sections of the Indian Penal Code including those related to sexual assault, has taken a pivotal turn with these new developments. Nivin Pauly’s legal team has already moved to the High Court, seeking justice against what they argue is a baseless accusation.

This situation underscores the complexities of handling allegations in the public eye, especially when involving public figures. As the legal proceedings unfold, the focus remains on ensuring a fair investigation, respecting due process, and upholding the principle of innocence until proven guilty.
