The latest sensation of all the towns and cities is nothing but Vijay starrer ‘Mersal’. The film was released for the festive occasion of Diwali, which has grossed worldwide 100Cr in a span of 3 days. Eventually, it’s not just about the collections that have turned the spotlights upon this movie, but the sensational issue as well. The dialogues involving GST and its resentment from BJP had instigated everyone from the film industry to express their views. With many in the industry and even some of the politicians coming in support of the film, Vijay’s father has opined on H Raja’s incorrigible statement of dragging ‘Religious’ classification. The politician happened to address the actor as ‘Joseph Vijay’, which had a strong resentment from his father.

SA Chandrasekaran in a news channel interview has mentioned saying, “My son Vijay is an Indian by caste and religion. I have even mentioned in the columns of his school admission form. Such a brutal gesture of classifying and offending someone in the name of religion is a proof of their feeble self-confidence.”
