“My role in Karthi’s Theeran is something different” – Rakul Preet Singh

Rakul Preet Singh made her debut in Tamil cinema through the film ‘Yennamo Yedho’, which didn’t offer her much fame. But now her second innings in Kollywood is seemingly creating much hype for her. The reason is that she has already become the favourite of masses here, especially with her bilingual film ‘Spyder’ with Mahesh Babu that was recently released. The actress is now sharing the screen space with Karthi in ‘Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru ’. Much excited about the project she says, “This is something new to me as I hadn’t been offered such roles before. I will be playing a typical Tamil girl. I am thankful to Karthi for he was so much helpful over my dialogues in Tamil.”

It is reported that Rakul Preet Singh will be playing the female lead role in Suriya’s untitled next, which could be either directed by Selvaraghavan or Sudha Kongara.
