Long pending Madha Gaja Raja is likely to release on Dec 24. This Sundar C directional venture stars Vishal, Anjali and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the leading roles. Apart from the lead actors, the movie also has a stellar cast of actors like Sriman, Santhanam, Nithin Sathya and Sadagoppan Ramesh. Music was composed by Vijay Antony, Vishal had crooned a song for the first time in this movie. Film which was wrapped up in 2013 failed to hit the screens for nearly 2 years due to various issues. The Telugu version rights were sold to a leading company recently for a good amount.

After the producers faced a huge financial crisis, Vishal tired to purchase the film and tried to release under VFF, but his attempts went in vain. Now there seems to be a scope of dawn for this film as Vishal has become the General Secretary of the Nadigar Sangam. Industry insiders reveal that talks have been initiated to sort out the financial issues and the negotiations are going on with the producer.
