Mersal, Kodi Veeran and Meyaadha Maan in final Diwali race

Vijay starrer Mersal was the first one to be confirming the release for festive occasion of Diwali. In spite of many troubles involving the FEFSI strike and legal issues, it has easily made it through the crisis. The other film that was confirmed for Diwali was Sasikumar’s Kodi Veeran, which sticks to the deadline. The film is directed by Muthaiah featuring Mahima Nambiar of Kuttram 23 fame in female lead role. While it was expected that Suseenthiran’s Nenjil Thunivirundhal would be hitting screens on same date, it is pushed to November 10 now. On an unexpected turn, it is now confirmed that Vaibhav-Priya starrer Meyaadha Maan will be releasing for Diwali.
