Megha Akash gets onboard for STR’s Attarintiki Daredi remake

Actress Megha Akash has got three movies scheduled for back to back release and even before its arrival has signed up a huge project now. The actress has been officially confirmed onboard for the untitled remake of blockbuster Telugu movie Attarintiki Daredi, which has STR in lead role. The original version featured Pawan Kalyan, Samantha and Pranitha in lead roles. Recently, it was officially confirmed that Lyca Productions has be acquired the Tamil remake rights of this film with STR playing the lead role and Sundar C wielding the megaphone.

The official announcement has been made that Megha Akash would be seen in the role that was performed by Samantha in original version. Touted to be a family entertainer, the film has perfect elements that are completely in accordance to usual Sundar C pattern of flicks. The shooting will commence by end of September and Lyca Productions affirms the film will hit screens for the festive occasion of Pongal.
