Vimal’s ‘Mapla Singam’ a romantic comedy directed by Rajasekhar is gearing up for release on July 31. Its is being produced by P.Madhan under the banner of Escape Artists Motion Pictures. The film is a hat-trick for the Vimal-Anjali duo after ‘Thoonga Nagaram’ and ‘Kalakalappu’.

While the music is done by N.R. Raghunanthan of ‘Neerparavai’ fame, the camera is handled by V.S.Tharun Balaji. A Scottish actor Adam Greig Wae roped in to portray a foreigner in the film, featuring in comedy scenes alongside Soori.
