Vimal after the release of ‘Oru Oorula Rendu Raja’, is now gearing up for his next release “Mapla Singam” directed by Rajashekhar and produced by P.Madhan of Escape Artists Motion Pictures. The cast includes Anjali, Radha Ravi, Soori, Manobala, Mayilasamy and a few others. This is the third film for Vimal-Anjali duo after Thoonga Nagaram and Kalakalappu.

The film is almost complete with just one song to be shot in a lavish set. Meanwhile, the makers are planning to release the audio of Maapla Singam on May 25th (Tomorrow). N. R. Raghunathan of ‘Neerparavai’ fame has scored the music for this film. Lyrics is penned by Yughabarathi for all the songs. The film is expected to release on June 9th.
