Mankatha 2 – Venkat Prabhu’s doubt and decision.

While his first three movies ‘Chennai 600028’, ‘Saroja’ and ‘Goa’ were sleeper hits, filmmaker Venkat Prabhu achieved an immense status in film industry through his ‘Mankatha’, which became Ajith Kumar’s ever biggest blockbuster hit. It’s been almost 5 years and till now, we are in awe of this stunning movie and are curiously looking out to see if the sequel happens. Now and then, there have been some buzzes and even few hints from Venkat Prabhu claiming the film’s sequel and here is one such thing.

In his recent interview, the director has affirmed that there would be a sure sequel to Mankatha. Whether it would be a continuation from the prequel or feature a new story is something that is left on Venkat Prabhu’s decision. Right now, VP is close on the heels of wrapping up the post-production works of Chennai 600028 Second Innings.
