G.V. Prakash Kumar while continuing his musical journey has now entered the field of Film Production for the first time and has produced a film “Madhayaanai Kootam”. The movie features debut hero Kadhir pairing up with Oviya. Vela ramamoorthy, Viji Chandrasekar are playing an important role in the movie

Directed by Vikram Sukumaran who has worked as an associate director to Balu Mahendra in Kadhai Neram, Julie Ganapathy,and also worked as an associate director to Vetri Maran in Polladhavan and also the dialogue writer in Aadukalam.

Madhayaanai Kootam is all about two families living in Theni and about their customs, culture, incidents occurring among those people their traditional values,etc and has been knitted interestingly keeping the commercial quotient in mind. This movie will definitely Attract people from all walks of life. The movie is pictured in and around Theni and Kerala.

The Music scored by  N.R. Ragunandhan is all set to be released this September and movie is slated to be released in the month of October 2013.
