“Maari 2 will hit screens in June” – Balaji Mohan

Filmmaker Balaji Mohan has rendered something interesting on the shooting plans of Maari 2. He has teamed up with Dhanush after the grand success of Maari. The film has Sai Pallavi in female lead role. Others in the cast includes Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Tovino Thomas and Kreshna in important roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing music for this film and recently, the first track featuring Ilayaraja was recorded.

Now the shooting has been put to hold due to strike that is happening in Kollywood. Balaji Mohan tweeted on this over his micro-blogging page saying, “Happy that Maari 2 shoot is progressing at brisk pace & is 40% done. Will resume after the strike & targeting release in the second half of 2018.”
