KH233 Exclusive – Is Kamal Haasan-H Vinoth project getting dropped?
Kamal Haasan’s fans were filled with excitement when they received consecutive updates from their beloved actor regarding his upcoming projects. Currently, Kamal Haasan is juggling multiple projects, including Indian 2, Indian 3, Kalki, and several others in the pipeline. Recently, he announced his collaboration with stunt directors Anbariv for a new venture. However, the announcement for his earliest project with director H Vinoth tentatively titled ‘KH233’ was made quite some time ago.
Yesterday, it has been officially announced that the shooting for Kamal Haasan’s film ‘Thug Life’, directed by Mani Ratnam, has commenced. While the excitement among fans is immense, they are also left in a state of confusion regarding the status of Kamal Haasan’s movie with H. Vinoth.
During this period, we have discovered from reliable sources that there are some creative differences and disagreements between the production house and director Vinoth. It appears that Kamal Haasan initially agreed to work with H Vinoth right after the blockbuster success of ‘Vikram’. However, he has recently decided not to portray cop roles anymore. Since Vinoth’s movie features him as a cop, the actor has requested the director to alter the script. On the other hand, Kamal Haasan has a packed schedule with ‘Thug Life’, followed by 20 days of ‘Kalki’, and upcoming election commitments in the following months. Consequently, it seems that his project with H Vinoth is likely to be either dropped or postponed until the end of 2024.
Nevertheless, there has been no official confirmation from either party regarding this matter.
