Keerthy Suresh reveals her role in Thaana Serndha Koottam

Actress Keerthy Suresh is quite excited about her upcoming release Thaana Serndha Koottam starring Suriya in lead role. The film is directed by Vignesh Shivn and is produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green Films. While speaking about the film, Keerthy Suresh says, “I am acting in the role of a Brahmin girl. An interesting and strange aspect – I do not have any name for my character in the film! I am performing in a role laden with humour and suspense!

I was deeply attracted by the character in this film even as the director Vignesh Sivan narrated the story to me.

I have been a huge Surya fan right from my school days. My mother has acted as the leading lady with Sivakumar – Surya’s father. Even as I was a school student, I had told that one day I would act s the heroine to Surya! This has now turned out to be true! I am indeed delighted with it! Surya Sir is a very quiet person. However, he was ready to clear all my doubts.

It was a good experience to act with Senthil. He is an actor cute like a ‘teddy bear’! Ramya Krishnan is my mother’s friend. So, I know her for a long time. It was a pleasure to perform alongside her. The director used to explain the dialogue to me only at the shooting spot – and then I developed and acted. That was a special approach. Anirudh has given excellent music which has already won great appreciation. I am delighted indeed!”
