Lots of preparations are happening about Vijay 60, which is reportedly directed by Bharathan of Azhagiya Tamizh Magan fame. The film will be an entertainer set against the backdrops of both village and city. It was earlier mentioned that Kajal Aggarwal will be teaming up with Vijay in this film and this would be their third time collaboration after the grand success of Thuppakki and Jilla.

Now it looks like, she has been ruled out from the film and Keerthy Suresh will be playing the love interest of Vijay in this untitled movie. The film will have musical score by Santhosh Narayanan and National award inner Praveen KL is handling cinematography. The shooting will start by the month of April right after the release of ‘Theri’.
