Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam is an upcoming Tamil film written and directed by R.Parthiban and produced by K. Chandramohan. The project stars an all new cast in the lead role and becomes Parthiban’s first directorial film in which he does not feature. The film, which has a tagline reading “a film without a story”, began production in late 2013.

While newcomers were signed for the lead roles, several popular actors from the Tamil film industry were offered to play cameo roles in the film.It includes Vijay sethupathi, Amla Paul, Prakash Raj, Tapsee Ponnu, Vishal, Siva Karthikeyan, Arya and more. The film’s music is by Malayalam music composer Alphons Joseph.

Latest update on the film is that Parthiban has planned to release a single track on May 12 at Suryan FM. The official audio launch has been scheduled for May 25 at Satyam Cinemas.
