Karthi’s next with Maanagaram director with no heroine

This is turning to be a much intriguing experiment and literally surprising. Yes, Karthi has started shooting for his new film tentatively titled ‘Karthi 18’, which will have no heroine at all. The film is touted to be an action packed thriller, which is produced by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu for Dream Warrior Pictures in association with Tirupur Vivek of Vivekananda Films. The movie has musical score by Sam CS and cinematography handled by Sathyan Sooryan. Philomin is handling editing and dialogues are written by Pon Parthiban. The movie’s shooting will be majorly canned in Chennai and Tirunelveli, where 70% of the film is expected to have complete action blocks. The film is expected to hit screens by July 2019 and currently, the post-production works of Karthi’s Dev is happening on full swing. While the first track for this film ‘Dev’ will be unveiled on December 14, the worldwide theatrical release is scheduled on January 26.
