Short film to feature film famous and Kollywood’s most wanted Director from Madurai, Karthik Subbaraj has started his second film titled “Jigarthanda” featuring Siddharth and Lakshmi Menon. “Jigarthanda” is Siddharth’s 20th film and the movie has started shooting in and around Madurai. “Jigarthanda” also has Karuna, Soma sundaram and Simha in its star cast.

“Pizza” was the biggest blockbuster with all in all new talents and an entirely different screenplay that was very much new to the Tamil Film Industry. Karthik Subbaraj has said that “Jigarthanda” would not be a horror film like “Pizza”. The title reveals the famous and Tamilnadu’s most wanted drink that is very much famous in Madurai. The Tamil Cinema audience experienced some hot “Pizza” a year back, it’s time for them to taste the “Jigarthanda”.
