“Karthik Subbaraj has incorporated lots of Rajinikanth elements in Mahaan” – Chiyaan Vikram

Actor Vikram is coming up with a release after a long hiatus. What’s more intriguing about his upcoming movie ‘Mahaan’ is his collaboration with his son Dhruv Vikram. Karthik Subbaraj has directed this movie, which is premiering on Amazon Prime Video from February 11, 2022, onwards.

Sharing his appreciation for director Karthik Subbaraj, actor Vikram says, “Karthik Subbaraj has lots of influences from the best commercial movie, and he has incorporated lots of Rajinikanth elements in Mahaan. When I say this, it’s not just limited to my characterization, but to every character including that of Bobby Simha. The way, he has balanced my role with Dhruv is really good. As soon as the screening was over, I really felt his filmmaking proficiency and his ability to balance both the characters with equal importance.”
