Karthi to team up with ‘Papanasam’ fame Jeethu Joseph

There happens to be a lot of speculations involving the next movie of Karthi. While the actor is currently working on the final schedule of DEV featuring Rakul Preet Singh in female lead role, there have been lots of big names involved over the directors. It was said that PS Mithran of Irumbu Thirai fame will be directing his next, it is now Malayalam filmmaker Jeethu Joseph who is now holding everyone’s attention. The filmmaker is far famed for his outstanding films like Drishyam and it’s remake in Tamil titled Papanasam featuring Kamal Haasan and Gauthami in lead roles. Apparently, the official announcement regarding this is yet to be made.

Dev is an action adventure thriller directed by Rajath Ravishankar and is produced by S Lakshman of Prince Pictures. Harris Jayaraj is composing music with Velraj is cranking camera.

The film is tentatively scheduled for release on December 21 for Christmas holidays.
