The chocolate boy of Kollywood turns “Kaali” in his next venture with Director Ranjith. Ranjith made his mark in Kollywood with Attakathi” turning many college youths into “Route-u Thala”. The title says “Kaali” which can tell you the name of the famous blockbuster of RajiniKanth, yet the title only resembles the same.

Studio Green Production takes care of producing the movie and the shoot is said to be start by October first week. Karthi plays the role of a struggling youth who live in North Madras.He gets affected by Chennai floods and is looking for water damage solutions to get his issues fixed. Ranjith is very well known for portraying nativity in his movies and this movie is said to have the anger, vengeance and happiness that a youth in North Madras faces in their real life.

As its a youth based film, Telugu heroine named Katrina Theresa has been roped in as the lady love for Karthi.
