After making Biriyani, Karthi is currently working up with director Pa Ranjith (of Atta Kathi fame). Title of this flick has been revealed now as “Madras”. Karthi will be romancing with Tollywood girl Catherine Tresa, who is making her debut in Tamil with this film.

It is said, Karthi will play a chennaite role in this flick and it was shot at various location of Chennai (Madras). Music for this flick is composed by Santhosh Narayanan and the audio right is bagged by Think Music, “We are happy to announce our next release Karthi starer “Madras” directed by Pa.Ranjith and Music composed by “Santhosh Narayanan” #Madras” Interestingly, it will be 3rd Karthi film for Think Music after Paiyya and Naan Mahaan Alla.
