Kannaadi – A newfangled horror story comes to haunt you now

Sundeep Kishan is pretty familiar for taking up films that are based on different and unique concepts. His comeback in Tamil cinema through Maayavan and Maanagaram had proved of such prominence. While his much awaited Naragasooran is scheduled for release shortly in time, the actor has almost wrapped up with his upcoming bilingual film titled ‘Kannaadi’. The film is directed by Caarthick Raju of Thirudan Police and Ulkuthu fame.

Usually, horror movies have a same pattern of haunted house, possessed doll or something like a ghost possessing a person to seek revenge. But Kannaadi will break such formulae and draw itself into a fresh zone. Anya Singh from Bollywood is making her debut in South Indian industry with this film, which also features bunch of salient actors like Anandraj, Karunakaran, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Murali Sharma and Pragathi in Tamil version while the Telugu will have Vennela Kishore, Posani Krishna Murali and Rahul Ramakrishna in important roles.

SS Thaman (Music), PK Varma (Cinematography), KL Praveen (Editing), Videsh (Art), Stuner Sam (Action), Sherif (Choreography) and Sampath Alwar (Sound) form the technical crew.
