Kanguva Financial Issue – The main reason behind early trailer release?

Actor Suriya’s Kanguva has been setting a decent lease of expectations. While the producers would usually prefer 10 days or a couple of weeks prior to theatrical release for unveiling the film’s trailer, Studio Green K.E. Gnanavel Raja, producer of this film, surprisingly launched the trailer yesterday. With more than a month left for the film’s theatrical release (October 10, 2024), everyone is surprised, why it had to get unveiled so early.

It is learnt through the industry’s inside sources that the film is still under some financial crisis, and the production house desperately needs to clear it off. To increase the business value, the producer of the film, K.E. Gnanavel Raja has started getting involved in promotions like early review with some leading media channels, and this surprise release of trailer.

It is also said that the major portion of Kanguva is set in modern times, and only few attribute to period flashback portions. However, the production house is trying to do a piggyback with Baahubali factor so that it gets a Pan-Indian spotlight.

Well, lets hope the film turns to be a massive Pan-Indian blockbuster for Suriya.
