Kamal to help Lingusamy with Thoonga Vanam

Director Lingusamy and his production house Thirrupathi brothers are facing huge debts, thanks to the massive failure of their last two films—Anjaan and Uttama Villain.

It is said that Kamal Haasan wanted to help Lingusamy with a feasible budget film but as he has to move to Thalaivan Irukkiran, the actor is now having a plan to give away Thoonga Vanam for an affordable amount to Thirrupathi brothers so that it will help them.

Reports say that shooting for Thoonga Vanam is almost wrapped up and by next month, the entire shooting will be completed.

Thoonga Vanam is the remake of French Film Sleepless Night and it has Trisha playing the female lead. The film also has Prakash Raj, Sampath and Yugi Sethu playing important roles.
